Fisherman’s Rest

Today I’m continuing our local cemetery tours with a stop by Beechbrook Cemetery in Gloucester. This is this is an interesting place because you will find war veterans from the Spanish-American war, a section for the Elks members and well as the Moose. But when you think of Gloucester, one must think of the men that went to sea to put fish on the table of the world. Very interesting! I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before.

Beautiful photos of headstone to commemorate "they that go down to the sea in ships" (Ps 107)

Very interesting theme! A walk through an old cemetery on a clear and crisp autumn day with camera at the ready...I can picture it so clearly.
