Summerwind

The Unites States Merchant Marine Academy’s Yacht Summerwind is in Gloucester Harbor. Ain’t she a beauty?  Tell you what, if you stay the weekend, we’ll let you be an honorary schooner. This weekend is the Gloucester Schooner Festival. Yes, it is my favorite time of the year.

That is stunning. It's photos like these that make me wish I lived near the water, and maybe had chosen the life of a seafaring man.

What a beautiful ship - wouldn't that be a lovely way to do a cruise among the Caribbean islands!

At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon!
( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life, some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well )
