Daisy Fleabane

This Daisy Fleabane seems to be a hit with the bugs. Shown below are an unidentified wasp and European Skippers taking advantage of the flowers’ gifts.  Or is the flower taking advantage of the bugs? These are shot right here in Dogtown.

Tomorrow, we get back to our peaceful sail down the Saint Lawrence River to Quebec City.

Butterflies and bugs always look better with a white background like a daisy Steve. Great photos.

Beautiful shots Steve! I agree, you can find a lot of bugs on those daisies. I have never seen the first one - funny little one!

How do you get the bugs to stand still while you take their photos? Maybe you do not have assistants sticking their noses where they do not belong...
