The Halifax Pilot

We said good by to the lighthouse on the jetty as we sailed out of Halifax, NS.

As we hit open ocean, I heard a boat coming in fast. It was the pilot boat coming in to pick up our pilot.

It came right under our stateroom.

And then they steamed off.

Sailing in the Atlantic that evening we were treated to a nice sunset, a promise for beautiful weather ahead.

Where to next? More lighthouses, boats and lobsters?  You will have to check back to find out.
