Sweet White Violets

Violets are blooming in the New England Woods now.

The Sweet White Violets are a little less common here.

Those that have been following me for a while have figured out that there is only one thing that beats a wildflower shot.

And that is a shot of a wildflower with a bug on it.

What a cute little buggie butt! He is obviously loving whatever the violet has to offer. And those violets are so delicate and beautiful, Steve. We've tons of the common purple wild violets but those white ones are amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful. They look so delicate. I love the purple "veins" running through them.

We have these little flowers growing in our yard amongst the violets. My husband likes to mow them down. He's cruel like that though.

It's too bad they don't grow to be a larger flower. What a flower it would be!

I for one have to agree with that last statement Steve. Great shots. I have never seen white ones before and they are very pretty.
