Waves after the Storm

We are still cleaning up after the February Storm shredded New England. This house along Atlantic Ave which is on the ocean took the brunt of the winds. Here it is getting a new roof.

Here is a sequence of pictures of a roller coming in the day after the storm. These were taken in front of the house above.

Hi Steve,
These are very impressive sea pictures! The colors are wonderful but one might only see the forces of the waves! Hope no boats were at sea by this time!

have you seen the massive pile of trees in the Crane Beach parking lot? If I have a chance I'm going to head there today (WITH a camera this time :) they lost over 200 there and a lot of sand off the beach too. crazy! Hope you weathered through OK!

Great pictures of the waves. I love the color and the contrast against the rocks. Looks like it was a bad day to be at sea!

I've seen plenty of roof action up this way too.

Excellent waves! Scary though.

Amazing photos! I am always awed by your photos. It feels to me that you are often in danger getting so close to the crashing waves! You take care - don't get too close, ok?

Great shots Steve, I must have missed you at Bass Rocks. The only regret of taking surf photos is not being able to capture the thunderous roar and the trembling ground!
