Just a little perspective.

When I got up on Friday, February 26th and looked over the Harbor, I could see the waves breaking, not on Dogbar Breakwater, but behind the breakwater.

They were just rolling along almost parallel to Dogbar Breakwater.

Note how high the wash is climbing! Whoo-hoo.

Just for a little perspective, here is the Dogbar Breakwater light with a man fishing at the end. Now you have a datum of comparable magnitude for how big the waves were.

If you haven't seen the pictures of the waves crashing on Eastern Point, be sure to check them out.

Wow they look massive and very impressive. You do not really want to be fishing around when these arrive!!! Beautiful marine scenery once again Steve!

Really terrific shots, Steve! And I did go look at the waves!! OMG! I would hate to get caught in one of those, but your captures do give you the feeling that you just were caught in one! Gives a whole new perspective on your shot for today! Hope you have a great weekend!
