Can you believe on my trip to Shanghai that I only gained one pound? I was shocked! I thought I'd put on at least 5. These are just a few items that I took snaps of.
Many years ago I worked in a Chinese Restaurant. For Chinese New Years the owner treated us all to dinner in Chinatown in Boston. Exciting stuff seeing as how I'd never been there before!
I have to say, when we left all I could think was 'where is McDonalds?' LOL!!! I liked the desserts but the main meals didn't appeal to me at all.
Glad you enjoyed the food Steve. At least you didn't starve like I would have!
The soup fixins and sushi looked great, but as my blogging friend Lonnie Bruner (lonniebruner.blogspot.com)puts it, in so many words, Asian desserts leave much to be desired. For me as well.
Welcome to Shooting My Universe. This is a daily photoblog of images from North America’s oldest working fishing port, wildlife photography and places I walk around.

Lovely looking food. I like those little swiss cheese tables, cute.
I see you went for Japanese food, (first photo) no wonder you gained only one pound.
