I love both very much. Great snippets of life where you live - gives us a realistic Sense of Place.

Lighthouse keepers need to receive mail, just like everyone else.

Also, I am not familiar with the Gloucester PO, but many of the ones built in the 1930's are very attractive.

I enjoy these town and country shots, Steve - a departure for you in terms of subject. That second almost makes me feel as though I was there, witnessing the postman coming.

I see they put some chicken wire over the eagle mantle to keep it pigeon free. Good idea!

Your making me miss Gloucester. Today would be a wonderful day to walk out on the jetty! Provided the surf isn't high. Yesterday I was in Rye and the waves were crashing over the jetty there. Quite impressive, but not as impressive as the shots you and Jay have captured.
