Could they have been stealing some poor fisherman's well-earned catch?? They look quite chuffed - did they pick the flesh out from the shell? Or eat it whole?

They probably found a nice restaurant somewhere ;-) I love the last shot, it is really sharp and I love the eye colors on the right side!!

When fishing in the Gulf of Mexico - shrimp were the preferred bait, live for the really good fish. And there were times when the gulls would try to catch the off our lines as we through them out.
I don't remember catching a gull, but they would give chase.
