Ocean going tug Inependence.

We do not get many ocean going tugs into Gloucester Harbor. I'm not sure why this boat has come in, perhaps it is to get some work done at one of the shipyards.

I love pictures of boats in the water. The Ocean going tugs are so cool looking. Nice pictures. You live in a very picturesque area.

Nice shot Steve... I do not think we have this kind of boat over here, maybe only one of them is working around!

Whoa, that's one serious looking tug! It's a macho tug! This is very cool, Steve.

That's Gloucester's newest addition! That one along with a 101' stand-by vessel will be home ported here to support the Neptune,Suez LNG terminal. I posted it's specs on my blog.
Great photo steve!

Of all vessels tugboats are my favourite - bustling, tough, persevering. I love to see them herding a big ship into harbour or easing one off and away from its mooring.
