Gloucester!

It's Christmas Eve. Don't fight the malls. Do your shopping right on Main Street. Here in Gloucester, we have lots of gift shops, local artist, emporiums, bodegas, clothiers, stuff for the guys and and things for the galls. I personally did all my shopping in Gloucester and Rockport. We are so lucky to have a great downtown. Plus my money stays working in my town.

That which is historical can certainly show much beauty as your photos prove so vivaciously. You see and show the best of what life has to offer. I enjoy work a lot. Have a great season of Holidays.

The shops are a madhouse at this time of year and I avoid them altogether.

We are very lucky to have such great local shops here on the North Shore. Besides a few purchases on Amazon for books we did all our shopping in downtown Ipswich, a 5 minute walk from our house. In fact my husband is down there right now last minute shopping, of course! happy holidays! -kate

I could do my shopping here. And I don't even shop. Not unless I have to anyway.

Great pictures of what looks like a fascinating area.

We spent a lot more locally than what normally do, almost all of it at locally owned stores. Better variety of merchandise and friendlier people.

Have a Merry Christmas.

These 'downtown' shots remind me of Bath, Me, right up the road from me. It's also an old brick fishing town. The town hall dome is illuminated with red, green and white light this year, lovely!
