I've been putting this post off for a few days because I wasn't sure what to

Some pleasures have to stop for others to have room to begin...
It looks deliciously incongrruous to see a house being towed across the water.
If only it was so simple to move our own houses to a warmer location for the winter. FAB
I love that houseboat! Look at the buoys hanging on the side! Great photo Steve! Glad you caught it!
I love it! Helen
I would not mind if they brought it her Steve. Pass on the message please. :)
Hi Steve,
What? Serious, people move their house like that! Wow that's incredible, I would never have imagined that! Well I'll go to bed less stupid than yesterday then ;-) Incredible!
my reaction was something like Chris'.
got me wondering if I could have the same house in austria and in the caribbean. Would a house need a special permit to be pushed across the caribbean, then the atlantic, through the mediterranean, up the danube, up the inn and then in to Tirol? Any tips or tricks would be useful.
What a beautiful shot although sad that the houseboat has to be tucked into bed for the winter. Love the lighthouse.
Another beautiful photo! I look forward to seeing your photos every week,
It was odd seeing so many houseboats on the river this summer.
"Yup, time to bring the house in" Hee hee.
Neat shot!
Great photo... educational too... an interesting story no doubt. Many questions. I cannot quite figure it out ... there is movement and so with others I guess the house is being moved... but the boats confuse me... one is moving, while the other appears parked? Carol
If that doesn't say the season is over, nothing does. That's a great photo.
