The Lewis H. Story from Essex.
Fall foliage by the Burnham Ship Yard.
Last August I took you on a sunset sail on the pinky schooner Maine with Harold Burnham. I'm pleased to see that Harold has started a blog which I think has lots of potential and will have a great future. Be sure to check out Boatbuilding with Burnham. (I head some hammering and sawing coming from the barn, I wonder what Harold is working on?)

Wonderful colors and scenery. Love the photo of the Essex boat too.
Nice shots. Essex is a very pretty area. Are most boats still in the water there? Looks like the fall colors are beginning to pop near the coast.
Beautiful, just beautiful.
The first picture is absolutely great. I sure shows me I have lots to work on in my pictures but that is a good thing.
Beautiful colours Steve from the boat to the autumn foliage. Thanks for the link to Harold's blog. FAB.
Thanks Eileeninmd and Arija.
Hi Erica, Most have pulled their boats from the water by now. There are still a few that will leave them in all winter, but most boats are out.
We all need to work on our picturs. I find shooting scenics is a bit of a challange.
You are welcome, Frank. I'm hoping that he finds success with the blog.
Well Autumn looks to have well and truly arrived in your area Steve. Great images.
Hi Steve,
The fall foliage shot is a marvelous piece of scenery. I love it!!! I would like to get these nice red leaves over here for a longer time... We only get them for few weeks. Now it's gone already!
Beautiful scenery! I'd love to visit New England some day; it seems like a place untouched.
I came for the first photo and started scrolling...you are an amazingly gifted photographer. Even the sea lion photos, while they weren't at their best, have a quality endearing and inviting. One can almost feel their fur begging to be touched.
I will be back!
You sure did shoot some nice scenery! It appears Harold has a true legacy to live up to. Judging by his expertise it won't be a problem.
I love those boatyard photos Steve, very peaceful somehow! I'll send this comment off and go and check out boatbuilding with Burnham.
I'm glad you stopped Steve...that second photo is one of the best I've seen. I just love all that's going on there.
You really have an eye for capturing beauty and things that are so interesting.
Mmmm, you have some beautiful color up there, Steve!
Love the bottom photo.
We have had somewhat of a poor foliage here this fall. The bright colors just haven't materialized.
