Gloucester Parade of Sails 2009

©2009 ShootingMyUniverse

Labor Day weekend was our Gloucester Schooner Festival. The weather was absolutely perfect with wind out of the north. The sky was crystal clear. If we only had some puffy clouds, it would have been storybook. I was in a dory with the best Grand Banks dory rower in the world today and two other photographers. What could be more fun than that? Here is a video made from my stills.

Cant see video from work where I'm commenting right now, but I really really like the addition of the photographer in the image above.

Schooners against a perfect blue sky, for a photographer what could be better. I see some clouds on the horizon as well.

I struggle to keep up with blogs I am following Steve, but I assure you I always enjoy and appreciate your photos - recently the variety and angles of the schooners - even when I don't have time to drop a comment. Thanks
