Ohh....that's so good and fun...perfect timing!!! I really enjoyed this series. The bird is beautiful in itself...the photos are gorgeous...but catching one plucking off a crabapple and swallowing it whole is priceless!

Wow, now you got me... I love so much the waxings! I've seen the bohemian in Finland, or let's say I was surrounded there by thousands of them!!! A gorgeous moment I spent with them and it became my favorite bird. This is a fantastic set of pictures you got Steve. Well done mate.

Now this is a really cool series, especially "down the hatch." Do you suppose the berries were fermented, and they were getting more than just food? I've seen some tipsy waxwings.
