SkyWatch, Front moving across Gloucester.

We had a cold front come through Gloucester, MA. Although the clouds looked very restive, it was very calm. Note that there was lots of movement in the clouds with many layers. Here I'm looking east. Jay got some shots looking west from the other side of town and got the setting sun.

Later, I was walking through Staint Peter's Square and took these two shots.

Great shots Steve. I love the video. Those big long clouds always reminded me of loaves of bread! I wonder if they ever get them down here? Can't wait until winter so I can see more sky!! (I never ever thought I'd say "can't wait til winter")!!!

That's one of the great things about living near the ocean, when the fronts come through you have a great view of the incredible clouds because the sky is so open.

Hard to believe this is your view everyday ... and night!

Beautiful with the dark clouds and lights.

Fantastic shots, Steve! I love them all, but the still water and reflections in the last one are really superb!

Have a great day!

In the first photo, I love the deep blue of the clouds. In the second, the deep blue of the water. Beautiful captures!

Hi Steve,
I found the video very relaxing - even the bird seemed in no real hurry. The two night shots showcasing the clouds and lights are both so crisp but so different in mood.

I love 'em all, but that last shot actually brought an out-loud OMG out of me. Just astonishing!
