B's favorite dragon

This is a Common Green Darner. At 3 inches long, it's a big dragonfly. Of all the dragons and damsels I shot recently, this is B's favorite.

Amazing! That's the first word that comes to mind.

It looks so very metallic; the gold filligre wing veins, the shiny abdomen, the polished thorax and head, and the legs of antique bronze.
