Forgotten Photo Friday, California Thrasher

I shot this California Thrasher at Crystal Cove State Park in Huntingon Beach California last March. There was a stiff breeze coming off the ocean that fluffed up his feathers.

What a neat beak that bird has on. I guess he sips something sweet out of flowers.

Great shots as usual. It's one of the few birds I know from sight because of that curvy beak.

...that bill is incredible! He must have some specialized feeding behavior. I don't know anything about this bird.
