Sea Worm
I was through a tide pool at low tide to see what may be around, perhaps a cool crab or something. Then a sea worm came out of a mass of sea weed. This is the first time I've seen one of these.

ewwww!!!! I am making the girliest yuck face right now.
I did catch a bunch of cod one time with sea worms in the Pugent sound. Of course some one else was baiting the hook. Now that I think of it they were taking the fish off the hook for me to. I had fun though.

What an extraordinary creature! How long would you say it was Steve? I'm guessing from the kelp stuff that it was maybe 3" long? Is that the head do you think? Weird!
Ohh..my uncle fishing with worms that look like that! Kinda creepy..
I somehow missed this one Steve. SO sorry, but this week has been an awful one sofar.
This is a very interesting creaure and I have never seen anything like it. I am amazed that it has adapted to the salt water. Thanks for posting it.
That makes me want to gag Steve, but the pictures are great!!!! Now how will I ever go swimming in the ocean again????
