International Dory Races 2009. Row Hard or Row Home

Be sure to check Jay's Cape Ann Images. Jay got some fantastic shots from his boat. Also I talked with Mike who posts on GoodMorningGloucester. He'll have some good stuff too.

If you need copies of these photos, Jimmy T will have a set or drop me an email. I will make them available to the rowers, friends, family and to not-for-profits. All others bring cash or bottles of good wine.

Great work Steve! Sharon Lowe and I were tied up at the sailing floats half way down the course. I'm glad you were at the start/finish line. I guess we got it covered!

Pretty cool Steve! Glad it was a good day for that race. Sure was sticky!

Remember the earlier photo you had a couple weeks ago of the 2 guys in the Dory? I didn't notice them in these pictures. Were they there? Are the boats rented?

Hi Sharon, The gents in the boats from a couple of weeks ago were actually eliminated, so they were not racing yesterday. Anyone can register with the Gloucester International Dory Racing group, for $50, you get a year's use of the boat. You need to have your own oars and seats. Locals can click the link to the left to get hooked up.

Jay, you are the phantom! I didn't see you out there, but then again I was at the north end. I'm looking forward to see what else you, Sharon and Mike came up with.

Hey Frank, It is always good to see people I know when I'm in a crowd. Gloucester is such a special place. For the first time in 20 years, I actually know people in my community.
