Thanks for stopping by! Shooting My Universe shows the way I see the world. You will see life in North America’s oldest working fishing port, wildlife photography, meet other artists and generally see some pretty good, unpretentious photography.
Our wine blog Smells Like Grape is the brainchild of my wife. We share tasting notes, visit wineries, go to wine shops, give “free advice” and interact within the wine blogging community.
I do monitor the blogs below, each one is a source of artistic inspiration. I only hope that others may gain inspiration from mine.

Jeesh Steve, you caught him with a cramp in his leg! Either that or an itch.
Can't say enough about how much I love these birds.
Great shots! You could see the bird was in stalking mode! :)

What a fabulous capture!! As if he was trying to "sneak up" on the fish!
Oh I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see one of these big guys around here!
Great shots Steve, I love the close up. Herons are a real passion of mine and you have really caught the essence of the bird. Cheers, Tony
