Do bees sneeze?

There is a little garden patch that has gone feral, since the lady that used to live there has moved out. This little bush that has these tiny rose-like flowers was attracting some bugs.

After watching this little bee for a while, the question entered my mind, “Do bees sneeze?”

Hahaha! You made me laugh... He sure looks cute coated in pollen. I know I'd sneeze if I rolled around in so much of it! Beautiful capture...

Okay, only you would think of that Steve. Of course they don't sneeze! The real question remains . . . do they have knees???

I like the large format. Nice. The top bug is freakin' me out.

Sometimes I wonder about things like that too. I don't suppose they do. One sneeze would send them shooting backwards and that could be a disaster.

Hi Steve, that bug looks like it might be a ladybird larvae. If them there bees sneeze then I bet they get itchy eyes too! (-:

If they do, they must do it happily!

Aww - can bees get hay fever? Or does the pollen tickle them? Wonderful macros.

An excellent question Steve and the answet to that is yes, they do sneeze. I have watched enough Disney movies to know that for sure. :)

That first little bug looks like a cross between a spider and caterpillar... a spiderpillar.
