Awesome shots!

We've been trying to see these birds for a couple years now with no luck. A lot of reports of them in the park/forest minutes from the house... but still haven't seen them, even down there. One day hopefully.

Rob, I know where you are coming from. I was just thrilled to have come across these and to get a fairly decent shot of the male and 10 shots of the femail...well, it just made my day.

Thanks Regina, Carol and T and S.

Hi Chris. I love finding birds in their world. This was along side a beaver dam.

Hi Teri C, I'm glad I could bring some joy to your day.

These are both excellent photos of the Rose breasted Grosbeaks. They come through my part of Ohio in April and go somewhere. I guess to your area.

Hi Abe, that would be the log, "scenic" route"! I'm always glad to see Grosbeaks. I wish I had them near my home, but alas, I'm more set up for Gulls.

Excellent shots Steve. I admire them even more because I cannot get a decent picture of this bird no matter how hard I try.

Nice shots, I had a pair in my yard the other day visiting the feeder but I didn't get a chance to take a photo.

I love the female in amongst the reeds or grass. Arn't they usually woodland birds?
