They that go down to the sea in ships.

When the USCG helicopter flies into Gloucester, I always hope that it is a training mission. Today it wasn't. We lost two men from the 54' trawler "Patriot" today. Please remember Matteo Russo and John Orlando in your prayers tonight.

That is so sad Steve. My cousin is a lobster fisherman. They and their families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Steve, has there been any word as to what happened? Did you see Jay's post? Sad day in Gloucester I'm sure.

Your pictures fit perfectly

B and I saw the helicopter come in as we were leaving the house to go to Maine for an hour or so. I didn't know what was happening until I got home and saw Jay's link on my right hand column. Although I've only been a part of this community for a little over two years, I see all of the boats go in and out. The thought of one less is rather difficult on the spirit. At this time, I only know what is in the article linked to in the posting.

How awful for the community, especially for the families of John and Matteo. Fitting tribute to them. I will definitely keep their families and the families of all others in harm's way in prayer.
