P.S. 13 Dec 08. Just got a comment from Joey of Good Morning Gloucester. This is Ocean Crest Seafood. Thanks Joey! The photo was taken from the docks beside the Gloucester House.
I do admire these people who work so hard at bringing in the catch. It is a thankless job sometimes and a tough one too as they have to go out in all kinds of weather. Beautiful shots Steve.
Welcome to Shooting My Universe. This is a daily photoblog of images from North America’s oldest working fishing port, wildlife photography and places I walk around.

I really love these hometown pictures Steve. Thanks for posting them!
I love how all of the fishing boats are together like that. It makes for a very interesting picutre.
Yes Joan, the fishermen are out there in the wind and rain, snow and fog. They are a hard working bunch of folks.
Eve and Kim, this is what Gloucester is all about. It ain't "fine art photography". It is wood, iron, water and it is a real special place.
For reference Steve that's Ocean Crest Seafood.
