Good night, Beantown
Taken from Eastern Point in Gloucester, this is the sun setting behind Boston on a bitter cold evening. A fishing boat passes by.

Thanks folks. This boat is probably heading out, since he is headed north, unless he is from Rockport. Either way, the boats do come and go all day. Brrrr.

I measured the distance on Google Earth. It is 26 miles from Dogbar to the skyscrapers of Boston. It looks remote and peaceful. Actually, Gloucester is at the end of Route 128, not at the end of the universe! That is what I tell my wine shop buddy in Salem when he's supprised I came all the way down from Gloucester to see him.
