Thanks folks. This boat is probably heading out, since he is headed north, unless he is from Rockport. Either way, the boats do come and go all day. Brrrr.
Hi Mathew, I see you started Soundbounder. Cool, I'll be keepoing and eye on it.
I measured the distance on Google Earth. It is 26 miles from Dogbar to the skyscrapers of Boston. It looks remote and peaceful. Actually, Gloucester is at the end of Route 128, not at the end of the universe! That is what I tell my wine shop buddy in Salem when he's supprised I came all the way down from Gloucester to see him.
Welcome to Shooting My Universe. This is a daily photoblog of images from North America’s oldest working fishing port, wildlife photography and places I walk around.

Absolutely wonderful. I can feel the comfort of the fishermen as they come in from the cold.
These are just fantastic Steve! That first one would be great for any wall!!
Very Nice!!!

Great pictures. I love the color of the sky and the view of Boston.
This seems awfully lonely and desolate Steve. Beautiful capture of the moment!!
Steve, you have the most beautiful sunsets! Any idea how many miles away Boston is in these photos?
