Hi Sharon, I know it is hard to believe, but sometimes we do have bland sunrises and sunsets. We happen to be lucky to live in an area where we are blessed. So I'm making hay while the sun shines. Hi Mary, Thanks for taking the time to have a look!
I found your blog through A New England Life. Stunning photography! I live in New England too so I like to check out other New England blogs. Will read some of your other posts.
All, I'm delighted to have such a favorable response to this picture.

To answer the $65 question, there are a few theories on how Tenpound Island got its name: 1) It was purchased for ten pounds of silver. (Highly unlikely, per local historians.) 2) It was the location of 10 sheep pounds. 3) It was once the location of ten pound guns.
Welcome to Shooting My Universe. This is a daily photoblog of images from North America’s oldest working fishing port, wildlife photography and places I walk around.

As unlikely as it seems, I like the first one Steve. I can imagine pirates with eye-patches barganing over it!! LOL!!
